Friday, June 16, 2017 has been fixed for the third edition of NSE Bloomberg CEO Roundtable to take place at the Stock Exchange House in Marina, Lagos.
The forum will bring together thought leaders with a wide range of perspectives on the economy, from the financial, agriculture, manufacturing, academic and public sectors, and will be headlined by the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun.
It will feature a keynote presentation, panel discussions and insightful research and analysis on the Nigerian Economy from a Bloomberg economist.
The CEO Roundtable is an initiative of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bloomberg, a reputable financial media outfit.
According to the organisers, this year’s event is themed ‘Innovating out of Nigeria’s Recession: Exploring New Paradigms for Nigeria’s Economic Growth.’
It will address the topical issue of resource dependency and the alignment of the economic recovery plan and roadmap to insulate the Nigerian economy from the shocks that come with it.
Speakers confirmed for the forum include the CEO of the NSE, Mr Oscar Onyema; Senior Lecturer at the Lagos Business School, Dr Doyin Salami; Founder and CEO of Main One, Funke Opeke; CEO of Stanbic IBTC Bank, Dr Demola Sogunle; and Head of Market Structure Strategy, MEA, Bloomberg, Selloua Chakri.
Others are the Senior Economist, Africa and the Middle East, Bloomberg Intelligence, Mark Bohlund; Lead Consultant at OutsideInHR, Ngozi Adebiyi; Managing Director of Okomu Oil Company Plc, Graham Hefer; and Executive Director of Capital Markets Division at NSE, Haruna Jalo-Waziri.
