Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday, June 12, 2017, eventually signed the long-awaited 2017 budget into law.
Mr Osinbajo assented his signature to the 2017 appropriation bill in the presence of Senate President, Mr Bukola Saraki; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara; and other top government functionaries.
The Acting described the budget passage as “an important milestone in our economic recovery and growth plan laid in April by President (Muhammadu) Buhari.
