MTN Restores Network in Sokoto, Kebbi, as Outage Persists in Adamawa, Borno

The network outage earlier experienced by customers of MTN Nigeria in Sokoto and Kebbi States has been restored, but the issues in Adamawa and Kebbi States remain unresolved.

On Monday, some customers of the leading telecommunications firm in the four states of the northern part of Nigeria experienced difficulties in enjoying quality services offered by the company.

This situation frustrated MTN subscribers in the affected states, prompting the network provider to task its engineers to fix the issue.

“We’re experiencing network challenges in some parts of Sokoto and Kebbi States, and our services may be temporarily unavailable as a result.

“Our engineers are working to restore services as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” a statement from MTN Nigeria Support stated.

But the company later informed subscribers that it has resolved the issues in Sokoto and Kebbi States.

“We sincerely apologise for the challenges experienced today with our services in parts of Sokoto and Kebbi States.

“The issue has been resolved, and services are fully restored. Still having issues? Please restart your device to reconnect. Thank you for your understanding,” it stated.
