GOtv shows

Some weeks call for a little restraint. This isn’t one of them. From a 48-hour battle for survival to a spirit-summoning party game gone wrong, a teddy bear with boundary issues, and the ugliest houses in America, this week’s GOtv lineup leans all the way into “too much” in the best way.

Land of Bad — M-Net Movies 3, Friday, 21:30

When a Delta Force team is ambushed deep in enemy territory in Land of Bad, a rookie officer refuses to leave them behind. With an Air Force drone pilot serving as their only set of eyes from above, the film builds a tense, real-time survival story out of a single brutal 48 hours. It’s tight, high-stakes military action from start to finish. Available on GOtv Supa+.

Talk To Me — M-Net Movies 4, Saturday, 20:35

A group of friends discover they can conjure spirits using an embalmed hand in Talk To Me, and what starts as a thrilling party trick quickly spirals into something none of them can control. It’s a horror film that escalates fast, with real dread underneath the initial thrill-seeking. Available from GOtv Plus and up.

Ted — TNT, Sunday, 19:00

A childhood wish comes true when John’s teddy bear comes to life in Ted, and stays very much alive well into John’s adult life. When John tries to move in with his girlfriend, Ted’s refusal to grow up threatens to derail the relationship entirely. It’s raunchy, ridiculous, and exactly the kind of comedy that doesn’t take itself seriously. Available from GOtv Plus and up.

Halloween Baking Championship (S11) — Food Network, Friday, 15:05

Seven bakers compete to build the most impressively spooky creations in Halloween Baking Championship, all chasing a $25,000 prize. Between the elaborate themed builds and the ticking clock, it’s a fun, low-stakes way to get into the Halloween spirit early. Available from GOtv Plus and up.

The Ugliest House in America (S1–2) — TLC, Wednesday, 20:00

Comedian Retta tours the country’s most spectacularly bad home renovations in The Ugliest House in America, judging properties on appearance, function, and sheer “surprise” factor. The season builds to one homeowner receiving a $150,000 renovation from designer Alison Victoria, proof that even the worst house has a comeback in it. Available on GOtv Supa and up.

Nothing here plays it safe

Whether it’s a war zone, a haunted party game, a teddy bear who won’t leave, a kitchen full of Halloween chaos, or America’s most questionable home renovations, GOtv’s schedule isn’t interested in moderation and honestly, neither should you be.
