Mattia Orioli joined the gym on Friday and participated in pool session and afternoon workout on that day. Brendan Mills came to the gym on Thursday and joined the sessions on Friday afternoon. Academy setter Amerigo Tanga and middle blocker Pietro Barion were back as well. New libero Francesco D’Amico is expected soon.

Uliana stated that he had not talked to D’Amico personally yet, but saw him in a friendly last season and expects a good reception and defence reference from him. Truocchio is in the national camp while this gym week is logged. The debut of Padova in the SuperLega is scheduled for 18 October. There are six weeks until that league night. Orioli and Mills are listed as arrivals, not the final team list. D’Amico is expected. Truocchio’s camp days are the national window, not a club withdrawal.
