Big Brother Disqualifies Keivo from Show Ya Sef House After Fight With Tram

Keivo has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show after an altercation with fellow housemate Tram escalated into physical violence in the final week of the show.

Big Brother announced the disqualification during an address to the housemates on Tuesday, after instructing them to watch a clip of the incident.

According to Big Brother, the disagreement between Keivo and Tram over a shirt escalated into a physical confrontation, constituting a serious breach of the rules governing conduct and safety in the house.

He identified Keivo as the perpetrator and ordered his immediate removal from the Show Ya Sef house, bringing his participation in the competition to an end.

Big Brother said considerable leniency had been shown during the season in the expectation that housemates would understand their boundaries and exercise restraint during moments of anger, frustration and disagreement.

He stressed that while disagreements and misunderstandings were inevitable in the house, housemates remained responsible for how they responded to them.

“No disagreement, accusation or personal grievance justifies violence,” Big Brother said, adding that “violence is never an option.”

He also reminded the remaining housemates that the pressures of the competition, communal living and personal conflicts did not excuse misconduct.

Big Brother urged them to conduct themselves with maturity, respect and self-control for the remainder of their stay in the house, including in their response to his calls and assigned tasks.

Keivo’s disqualification leaves nine housemates in the race for the BBNaija Season 11 crown and the N160 million grand prize.

The remaining housemates are Aikou, Barry, Bluethophia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

The finale of the show is scheduled for Sunday, October 4.

Voting for the winner is currently open and is scheduled to close on Friday at 9 pm WAT.
