BBNaija Season 11: The Housemates Have Made Their Pitch, Who Gets Your Vote?
With the Big Brother Naija Season 11 finale now in sight, the remaining 9 housemates have made their final cases for the grand prize, putting their dreams, plans, and reasons for deserving the win before the viewers.
The final campaign gave each housemate two minutes to explain why they should be crowned winner, followed by one minute to campaign for a fellow housemate they believed deserved the prize. The result was a mix of heartfelt appeals, big ambitions, friendship and, in Temi Nkem’s case, a particularly dramatic plea that saw her kneel and roll on the floor while making her case.
Flora spoke about how far she has come and how winning would fulfil one of her biggest dreams. She also campaigned for Oyin, her friend from the early days of the House, saying a win for Oyin would feel like a win for her too.
Aikou centred his case on his ability to turn “little to a lot”, explaining that the prize would have an impact beyond himself. He also campaigned for Oyin, believing the money would make a significant difference to her life.
Bluethopia admitted that her time in the House had not always gone according to the way she imagined it would, but said winning would validate everything she gave up to be there. She campaigned for Barry, pointing to his selflessness and the role he played in getting all 10 finalists to this stage.
Sheba spoke about wanting to create a better life for herself and her son and said she would put the prize to good use. She campaigned for Temi Nkem, highlighting her determination, versatility, and refusal to back down.
Ricky kept his case brief, saying he is in the finale for a reason and leaving his fate in the hands of those who have supported him. He campaigned for Keivo, pointing to his competitive spirit.
Oyin said she came into the House prepared to give the experience her all and believes that effort should count for something. She campaigned for Flora, saying she believes her friend deserves to win.
Tram described himself as a symbol of hope for young people with big dreams and said winning would help him turn that ambition into something tangible. He campaigned for Oyin, describing her as a fellow hustler and someone he believes would make good use of the opportunity.
Temi Nkem brought the most dramatic moment of the campaign, getting down on her knees and rolling on the floor while making her case. She spoke about using the prize to build her future, grow her career, make investments and start a charity. She campaigned for Sheba, highlighting the kindness and support she has shown her throughout the season.
Barry, the final housemate to make his case, acknowledged that he has not always been the loudest or most competitive player, but said he has given the game his best. He hopes his journey has entertained viewers and earned their support, while the prize would help improve his life and that of those around him. He campaigned for Aikou, pointing to his potential and the difference the money could make for him.
Now, It Is Down to the Viewers
The housemates have made their cases. They have said why they believe they deserve the prize and put forward the people they would like to see win. Now, the final decision rests with the viewers.
Votes can be cast through the MyDStv App, MyGOtv App, the Africa Magic website and mobile site. Fans on higher DStv and GOtv packages have more votes to cast, giving them more say in who takes the title.
Voting is open until 9 pm on Friday, October 2, ahead of the live finale on Sunday, October 4.
