The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) started the new year, 2018, on a strong note and investors are happy about this.
Last year was very good with the market recording over 40 percent gain. The local bourse, according to a report by CNN, was the third best performing stock in the globe.
Analysts have predicted that the Nigerian stock market will sustain the positive momentum this year as the country prepare to head to the polls next year to elect a new set of leaders.
