Minister of Water Resources, Mr Suleiman Adamu, has charged members of staff of his ministry to brace up and key into the roadmap of the Next Level Agenda of the present administration.
Mr Adamu gave this charge when he resumed office after he was reappointed on Wednesday to the ministry by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said the management and staff of his ministry should get back to work with renewed vigor to enable massive delivery of service in line with the roadmap he had instituted during his first tenure in office.
“I appreciate Mr President for reappointing me to the Water and Sanitation Sector, and as such I enjoin everyone be hard working in order to move the country forward,” he said.
The Minister urged the Directors and all staff to contribute meaningfully and speak their minds on issues that will lead to effective service delivery, noting that all departments are relevant in the actualization of the Water and Sanitation Roadmap.
Earlier in her welcome speech, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Ekaro Comfort, expressed her delight on the reappointment of the Minister.
She promised that the management and staff of the ministry will give him maximum support to succeed in the realization of new his new mandate.
