One of the leading online classified advertisement platforms in he country, OLX Nigeria, recently opened a new office in Lagos.
This was part of activities to mark its four years of operations in the country.
The new office, located in Ilupeju, is well equipped with assorted office materials.
Present at the ceremony were representatives of the Lagos State Government as well as some top members of staff of the company.
Speaking at the occasion, Country Manager of OLX, Mrs Lola Masha, indicated that the company would continue to strive hard to satisfy its customers.
“We have come a long way from when we started and have grown both in staff size and users with over a million sellers on the platform,” she said.
She pointed out that “although we are excited that we are still number one in the country we are not resting on our oars.”
“We are constantly innovating our products to meet our users’ needs. Recently, we launched ‘Do It For Me’ (DIFM) a premium service where verified OLX Champs who are sales experts manage the posting, negotiating, buying and selling of items on the site.
DIFM is convenient, will keep our users safe and help buyers and sellers close deals quickly,” she also said.
Also speaking at the event, representative of the Lagos State Commissioner for Science & Technology, Mr Olufemi Odubiyi, Mr Adeyinka Sorungbe, congrated OLX Nigeria on the feat they have made so far in the industry.
Mr Odubiyi noted that OLX Nigeria has weathered the storm and plays a frontline role in creating jobs for our youths and using technology to help residents of the state buy and sell online conveniently.
He urged the company not to rest on its oars.
