The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange closed flat on Thursday, March 26, 2020 after prices of stocks at the market remained unchanged.
At the close of activities, the market capitalisation remained at N508.84 billion, while the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) stayed at 692.71 points.
A total of 100,380 units of shares were traded by investors on Thursday at the unlisted securities market compared with 127,417 units transacted at the midweek session, representing a 21 percent drop.
In the same vein, the total amount of stocks exchanged during session stood at N165,600 in contrast to N15.1 million worth of shares traded the previous day, representing a 99 percent decline.
The trades recorded yesterday were from three deals executed during the session, same number of deals recorded at the bourse on Wednesday. They came from Niger Delta Exploration and Production (NDEP) Plc, which had two, while Trustbond Mortgage Plc recorded on deal.
At the close of business on Thursday, ARM Life Plc remained as the most traded stock by volume (year-to-date) with 7.6 billion units of its shares traded for N4.6 billion. Food Concept Plc was in second place with 110 million units traded at N77 million, while Central Securities Clearing Systems (CSCS) Plc followed in third place with 17.6 million units traded at N203.8 million.
In terms of the most active stock by value (year-to-date), ARM Life Plc still held the top position after trading 7.6 million units worth N4.6 billion. NDEP Plc came in second place after selling 6.5 million units valued at N2.03 billion, while FrieslandCampina WAMCO Plc has traded 2.2 million units worth N267.3 million.
