Nigerian Breweries Board Meets to Approve Dividend

The board of directors of the Nigerian Breweries Plc has scheduled Wednesday, February 15, 2017, for a crucial meeting.

During the meeting, to be held in Lagos, the board will consider and possibly approve the audited financial statements of the company for the year ended December 31, 2016.

Also to be considered, according to a statement signed by the company’s legal adviser, Uaboi Agbebaku, is the proposal for the payment of dividend.

In the statement, it was disclosed that the company’s closed period, which commenced on December 15, 2016, will expire on February 15, 2017.

The Nigerian Breweries then promised to inform the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) of “the details immediately after the meeting.”
