PwC to Hold SMEs Workshop in Lagos

Riding on the wave of making Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) a tool for national development, PwC, in partnership with Genevieve Magazine, will be bringing together experts and stakeholders for a special workshop themed “Growing Your Business from Scratch to Cash” which is scheduled to hold on August 22, 2019, at the RadissonBlu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The workshop, which aligns with PwC’s Purpose of building trust in society and solving important problems, is set to tackle head on the several challenges that mitigate the growth of SMEs in Nigeria.

The event will feature a host of award-winning business experts as panel members that will discuss salient topics and provide participating SMEs with the opportunity to network and collaborate with other business owners.

Selected panelists for the workshop include business magnate, Mr Akin Alabi, Founder, Nairabet and author, Small Business Big Money; Tara Fela-Durotoye, CEO, House of Tara International; Kenneth Erikume, Partner, PwC Nigeria, and Betty Irabor, Founder, Genevieve Magazine and author, Dust to Dew.

Topics of discussion at the workshop will revolve around how to start, grow and turn businesses into profitable endeavour, how to structure businesses for growth, tax planning and compliance for SMEs, and the impact of mental health on business growth and productivity.

The first 20 organisations to register for the workshop will be eligible to a free, high-level tax consultation courtesy the organisers.
