Courteville Business Solutions Plc has announced the retirement of three of its board of directors’ members.
The affected directors are Mrs Olabisi Akindele, Ms Lilian Ajayi and Mr Tope Osazee.
According to a statement issued by the firm, the retiring directors made their decision known at a meeting of the board held on June 1, 2017, at 8am, about three hours before it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
“In line with the listing requirements of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), please be informed that at the board of director meeting of Courteville Business Solutions held on June 1, 2017 at 8am, Mrs Olabisi Akindele, Ms Lilian Ajayi and Mr Tope Osazee indicated that they would not be offering themselves for re-election and would therefore be retiring by rotation from the Board of Directors further to clause 34(2) of the Articles of Association of the company,” the statement, signed by the company’s Secretary, Jackson, Etti & Edu said.
It was noted further that at the AGM of Courteville Business Solutions Plc held on June 1, 2017 at 11am, a resolution was passed by the shareholders approving the retirement of Mrs Akindele, Ms Ajayi and Mr Osazee.
It was learnt that the trio joined the board of the company on July 28, 2011.
Meanwhile, the board and management of the organisation have expressed their gratitude to Mrs Olabisi Akindele, Ms Lilian Ajayi and Mr Tope Osazee “for their leadership of the board and meritorious service to the company.”
