The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Nuhu Ribadu, has been appointed as a Special Adviser by President Bola Tinubu.
The retired police officer was chosen by the President as the Special Adviser on Security.
He will work with other aides appointed by the President.
The President chose Mr Wale Edun as the Special Adviser on Monetary Policies, while Mr Dele Alake is the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy.
Also, Mr John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu was picked as the Special Adviser on Industry, Trade and Investment; Mrs Olu Verheijen will serve as the Special Adviser on Energy, and Mrs Salma Ibrahim Anas will be the Special Adviser on Health.
President Tinubu also selected Mr Zachaeus Adedeji as his Special Adviser on Revenue, and Mr Yau Darazo was favoured as the Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs, according to a statement signed by the Director Information of State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, said on Thursday.
Recall that a few days ago, Mr Tinubu asked the 9th Senate to approve the appointments of some Special Advisers.
