Aisha Buhari In Brussels To Speak On ‘Women’s Role in Global Security’

Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs Aisha Buhari, is currently in Brussels, the capital of Belgium for a programme.

While in the European country, she will speak on ‘Women’s Role in Global Security.’

“Heading to Brussels to attend a forum where I will be giving the opening remark on ‘Women’s Role in Global Security’,” Mrs Buhari posted on her Facebook page hours ago.

Her trip to Belgium comes after her husband told newsmen in Germany last week that she ‘belongs to the kitchen, the living room and the other room.’

Mr Buhari’s response was to an interview his wife earlier granted the BBC claiming a cabal had taken over his government.

Mr Buhari later insisted in an interview with DW that his wife’s duty was to take care of him and not to dabble into politics.
