Popular Nigerian actor, Mr Anayo Modestus Onyekwere, otherwise known as Kanayo O Kanayo (KOK), has advised the Federal Government not to see leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu, as an ordinary noisemaker.
The actor gave this advice on Friday morning on a television programme on TVC, Your View, where he was the celebrity guest, which was monitored by Business Post.
KOK said the government, if possible, must sit down with Mr Kanu and other Biafra agitators, to hear what they actually want and see how things can be sorted out amicably.
He described the Biafra issue as a very delicate one and warned that it should not be handled recklessly.
“Let me say this on air and I can be quoted on this. The Federal Government should take Nnamdi Kanu seriously and probably dialogue with (Biafra agitators),” the actor said.
Speaking on his career, the actor said he decided to return to school to study law because he needed to show the other side of him, which is helping the voiceless in the society.
On his view on President Muhammadu Buhari’s absences in public, KOK said Nigerians have the right to know whereabouts of the President.
