Another feather has been added to the cap of JC International barely one week after securing ESP Hull Gauging certification from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
Information at our disposal revealed that the notable company with its headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos, has again received accreditation from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), United Kingdom, as safety training provider.
IOSH is the world’s largest professional health and safety organisation with more than 46,000 members in over 120 countries; and sets safety standards regulating the conducts of millions of working people around the world.
A statement signed by Managing Director of JC International, Engr. Austin Joseph, disclosed that the IOSH accreditation has authorised the firm to provide Managing Safely V5.0, Working Safely V5.0 and Managing Safely Refresher V2.0 training service to individuals, corporate bodies and government agencies.
According to him, the license was awarded following the conclusion of due assessment on the ISO 9001:2015 certified company, which confirmed it as a world-class training institution with the capacity to provide safety training in accordance with global standards.
“The feat came after a careful evaluation of our quality assurance framework which includes people and processes in line with the terms and conditions laid down by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, UK,” Mr Joseph explained.
He further said in the statement that the permit has again given credence to JC International’s strong commitment to reducing risks and hazards at workplace, by equipping people with the right knowledge and processes to work safely and achieve zero accident at workplace.
