A new General Manager has been appointed for the Lagos State Infrastructure Asset Management Agency (LASIAMA) as part of efforts to revamp and rejuvenate public infrastructure management and maintenance in the state.
Governor of the state, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, announced that Mr Oladeji Williams will now head the agency.
Until his recent appointment, Mr Williams was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Energy and a team member of the Policy Development, Conceptualization, Coordination, and Implementation of the Light up Lagos Initiative.
He is a well-rounded professional and skilled administrator with cognate working experience spanning over 15 years spent working as a project manager in the United States of America and in Nigeria; he worked at management level within the Lagos State Government and also served as a consultant to various State governments in Nigeria.
He is a graduate of Franklin University, United States of America with a Bachelor‘s Degree in International Business and Global Issues. He also holds professional Certificates in Project Management and International Facility Management.
The Lagos State Infrastructure Asset Management Agency (formerly Office of the Facility Management and Maintenance (OFMM) is charged with the tasks of ensuring proper management and maintenance of all Lagos State assets and infrastructure.
