The President-General of a prominent socio-cultural group in the southeastern part of Nigeria, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has died.
According to reports, the foremost businessman died on Thursday in Abuja.
The 81-year-old Igbo leader was the 11th president-general of Ọhanaeze Ndigbo, assuming office in April 2023 after he succeeded the late Mr George Obiozor.
Considered as one of the richest men in the South East, the deceased had business interests in different sectors and was educated at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, where he studied Civil Engineering.
