Popular Lagos-based female socialite, Princess Toyin Kolade, has joined the Lagos and federal governments in their fight against coronavirus.
The Chairman/CEO of Fisolak Group of Companies, who is fondly called the Iyalaje of the Source, has donated some items to the vulnerable in the society.
Recall that over the weekend, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced some relief packages for some residents of the state, which are meant to help those who may not have things to eat during the ‘forced’ sit-at-home measure put in place to curb the spread of the virus.
As part of her own contribution to the betterment of the society, Princess Kolade donated some items like cash, food items, face masks, hand sanitizers and more to some people in the state. The donations were made by her to the proper channels for even distribution.
The coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to its knees and according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the global economic has entered into a recession worse than the one witnessed during the global financial meltdown in 2008.
Several businesses have been shut down due to the virus, while many nations have closed their borders, making travelling almost impossible in some countries.
In Nigeria, several people have been asked to stay at home, while businesses have asked their workers to work from home because of the devastating effect of the disease, which still has no cure.
In her own way to support those that may be affected, Princess Kolade made the donations. The lovable woman has always remained a blessing to womanhood and a very successful business amazon.
