Mr Kingsley Oritsetimeyin, also known as Kellyrae, emerged on Sunday night as the winner of the ninth season of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show themed No Loose Guard. 

The contestant, who appeared as an initial pair with his wife, Kasia, before being impaired, won the N60 million cash prize money alongside other prizes totalling N100 million.

The first runner-up of the show was Wanni (Wanni x Handi) while Onyeka emerged as the second runner-up.

Before the winners were announced at a ceremony held in Lagos, other housemates evicted on Sunday were Victoria, Sooj, Ozee, Onyeka, Nelly, and Anita.

During Sunday’s live show attended by Business Post, Sooj was the first to be evicted, followed by Anita, Ozee, Nelly, Victoria, and then Onyeka.

The last two standing before being invited on stage were Kellyrae and Wanni.

The finale culminates 71 days of fierce competition, emotional highs, and unforgettable moments.

This Season kicked off on July 28 with 14 pairs of housemates entering the house, bringing the total number of contestants to 28. This unexpected format made it one of the most thrilling seasons, keeping fans on the edge.

However, into the season the pairs were broken up and every candidate had to compete individually.

Kellyrae joins the exclusive list of BBNaija winners, including Katung Adwuak, Efe, Miracle, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and the 2023 winner, Ilebaye.
