Egyptian football star, Mohammed Salah, has been named the best football player in Africa for the second time.
At a ceremony held in Dakar, Senegal, the talented footballer, who plies his trade in England with Liverpool FC, beat his club teammate, Sadio Mane, and Arsenal/Gabonese star, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, to clinch the coveted award.
The African Footballer of the Year award is conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Mo Salah received the award on Tuesday night from a former winner of the prize and 1995 World Footballer of the Year, President George Weah of Liberia.
