By Dipo Olowookere In a deliberate attempt to bring services closer to its customers in Ogun State, the management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc has created 13 new customer care offices. This move, according to the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Engr. John Ayodele, is in line with the commitment of the energy firm to improve customer experience and further promote excellent service delivery. The offices will enable easier accessibility and convenience for customers, leading to stronger interactions/feedback and facilitate robust/quick responses to customers’ enquiries and complaints, he said. “As a customer-oriented company, we are constantly developing initiatives and services that deliberately bring us closer to the customers, right where they live or do business,” Mr Ayodele. He explained that the offices are strategically located across the Gateway State and located far from the regional office at Abeokuta to remove the stress of travelling long distances to get complaints resolved. He said the new offices are in Owode-Yewa, Itele, Ilogbo, Magboro, Ogijo, Ilaro, Ifo, Mowe, Imo, Ago- Iwoye, Ijebu- Ife, Ashimolowo and Olumo communities. The energy expert, therefore, urged customers to take advantage of the customer care office nearest to them to enjoy better and faster service in addition to the 24/7 customer care platform on 07001239999 and email@example.com. Concluding, Engr. Ayodele disclosed that this was the first phase of the initiative across its franchise as more offices would be established.
