The firm was recently named as the 2018 WSO-NG Concerned Organization of the Year at World Safety Organizations (WSO) National Conference and Awards held in Lagos. WSO is an international association of HSE Professionals offering a broad selection of accredited professional certifications for Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health professionals worldwide. At the awards ceremony, WSO explained that it honoured Ikeja Electric for its outstanding dedication and support to "making safety a way of life.\u201d Also, the group announced Ikeja Electric's Head of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Engineer Jamiu Badmos, as winner of the prestigious WSO-NG Environmental\/Occupational Safety Person of the Year 2018 award for his unalloyed commitment to the growth of HSSE profession and dedication to \u201cMaking Safety a Way of Life\u201d and thereafter appointed as Safety and Emergency Response Ready (SafERR) Ambassador. Receiving the awards, Engr.
