Jeffrey Ewing Appointed Chevron Nigeria MD

The appointment of Mr Jeffrey Ewing as the new Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has been announced.

In a statement issued by the company’s General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA), Esimaje Brikinn, disclosed that the appointment took effect on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Mr Ewing is expected to assume the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Chevron companies in Nigeria.

Before his appointment, Mr Ewing was the Director, Deepwater and Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for the Nigeria Mid-Africa Business Unit.

He is to take responsibility for Chevron’s upstream operations in Nigeria and West Africa.

He succeeds Mr Clay Neff, who has been named president of Chevron Africa and Latin America Exploration and Production (CALAEP).
