Mr Bicci Alli has been announced as the acting head of the Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS).
The renowned tax consultant was part of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) that increased the revenue base of the state, which makes Lagos as a tax model in the country.
It was gathered that one of the major tasks ahead of Mr Alli is the recovery of over N30 billion tax owed by several organisations in Osun State.
He will also ensure the tax base and the internally generated revenue of Osun State are increased, while also transforming the tax office for optimum performance.
Mr Alli holds qualifications in Business Administration, Accounting and Taxation. He is also a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
He is replacing Mr Oludayo Oyebamiji, who left the OIRS months after being appointed to revamp the agency.
