A Nigerian company known as THLD Logistics International Limited has promised to bring down the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) commonly known as domestic cooking gas in the country.
This disclosure was made last Friday at the unveiling of the latest sets of cars, trucks and tricycles converted from petrol and diesel to domestic gas, at the Palace of the Ooni of Ife in Osun State.
THLD is chaired by the first class monarch, Oba Adéyẹyè Ẹnìtàn Ògúnwùsi Ojaja II.
The company said with its new technology, it would ensure it crashes the price of the commodity in the country.
At the moment, a 12.5kg of gas is sold around N4,000.
THLD explained that its new technology encourages members of the public to use cooking gas to run their vehicles and machines.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ogunwusi lauded the THLD Group Head, Mr Oluwasegun Olajuwan, for leading an industrial revolution in the country.
He said the THLD innovation was a ray of hope for Nigerians, producing cleaner and an environmentally friendly alternative fuel especially when the world was campaigning for a cleaner environment.
The Yoruba paramount traditional leader urged transport companies, government agencies and all Nigerians to embrace the technology to reduce overhead running cost.
Group Head of THLD, Mr Oluwasegun Olajuwan, noted that his company has brought hope to the Nigerian economy by introducing an alternative fuel solution which is powered by STAG Technology.
He said all OANDO filling stations nationwide would sell Autogas (cooking gas) at a price cheaper than petrol.
