Condolences are continuing to pour in for popular gospel musician, Mr Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, otherwise known as ToluwaniSings, who died on Wednesday.

The singer breathed his last yesterday after he slumped at his residence in Ibadan. He was reportedly pronounced dead after he was taken to a medical facility in the ancient city.

Last night, the family of the music act released a statement to confirm his passing, saying, “With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM), who passed away in the early hours of 14 October 2026.

“A dearly loved husband, family member, and gospel minister.

“Please keep his wife, family, and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.”

“Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family in due course.”

Reacting to the death, an X user, @Optimistic_Ade, said, Gone to join the host of heaven in singing Hosanna. RIP, Toluwanisings, as another user named Olajide stated that, “Goodnight Toluwanisings. Men, pls don’t play with routine checkup ooo.”

Another user, @cute_pecky, wrote, “A country that prioritises road construction over Healthcare is a vampire that is preying on her citizens’ blood. If Nigeria’s healthcare was good Toluwanisings, my mother and many others would still be alive. RIP Toluwanisings.”
