**Says Christians Without PVCs Sin Against God

The National Assembly has been urged to pass the 2018 appropriation bill presently before it waiting to passage.
This appeal was made by respected cleric, Mr Enoch Adejare Adeboye, who is the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Speaking at an event held in Lagos, the man of God pointed out that the lawmakers were elected into office to do the interest of the populace.
According to him, passing the nation’s budget was part of the duties expected of the parliament and challenged the lawmakers to do the needful.
Mr Adeboye emphasised that members of the National Assembly were not voted into power for their selfish interests, saying the budget should be quickly passed in the interest of Nigerians.
Daddy G.O, as he is fondly called by his church members, also frowned at the killing of Christians in the country.
He tasked the government to rise up to is primary constitutional function, which is to protect lives and properties of citizens.
Mr Adeboye also urged Christians to register for their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), saying they should be involved in the electoral.
According to him, staying away from the process is itself a sin before God as the Bible says, “give therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s.”
The cleric said with this scripture, eligible Christian voters who fail to get their PVCs would commit a sin against God.
“Nigerians should be ready to vote for credible and God-fearing people in positions of authority at all levels of governance. Those who are currently in power but are not serving us well should be voted out,” he said.
According to him, Nigerians should also vote out politicians who are aiding and supporting the killing of fellow beings, irrespective of who they are.
Mr Adeboye spoke at a special prayer and thanksgiving for expectant mothers, medics, paramedics and all those seeking medical attention organised by RCCG’s national headquarters Throne of Grace Parish on Redemption Way in Ebutte Metta, Lagos.
The programme was tagged ‘Hope for the Hopeless’ and was attended by thousands of Christians from across the country.
The General Overseer was represented at the prayer session by his Assistant General Overseer and Special Assistant of Administration and Personnel, Mr Johnson Odesola.
