It was a day of glory for Fidelity Bank Plc at the 2019 edition of PWM Wealth Tech Awards held in London, United Kingdom (UK) recently.
The event is organised by Professional Wealth Management (PWM), an industry magazine owned by the Financial Times.
The platform is used to celebrate and reward excellence in wealth management technology and Fidelity Bank was part of the organisations invited to be celebrated.
The financial institution joined other recipients of the awards through its specialized Division known as Fidelity Private Banking.
At the ceremony, which drew attendance of top players across various professions, Fidelity Bank was adjudged as the ‘Best Digital Networking Bank for Entrepreneurs, Africa 2019’.
This was in recognition of the lender’s support for business owners on the African continent through the use of technology.
Business Post reports that the Editor-in-Chief, PWA at Financial Times, Mr Yuri Bender, presented the Wealth Tech Award to the Divisional Head of Fidelity Private Banking, Ms Chioma Nwankwo at the event.
Speaking after the award ceremony in London, CEO of Fidelity Bank, Mr Nnamdi Okonkwo, said that the award was a recognition of excellence, achieved through commitment to the ideals of the bank.
Also present at the event were the Head of Investor Relations at Fidelity Bank, Ms Sam Obioha; and the Chief Operations & Information Officer of the bank, Mr Gbolahan Joshua.
