Organisers of the Fidelity SME Funding Connect are already dotting the i’s and dotting the t’s as the event is getting closer by the day.
On Thursday, August 1, 2019, the team was at the Fidelity SME Radio Forum on Inspiration 92.3 FM, Lagos to create publicity for the programme, which aims to provide an opportunity for the bank to meet with players in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to discuss funding.
Present during the show were the Chief Operations and Information Officer, Fidelity Bank Plc., Gbolahan Joshua; Chief Economist, Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), Joseph Nnanna; and General Manager/Regional Bank Head, Ikeja, Fidelity Bank Plc., Kenneth Opara.
Others included Media On-air Personality, Inspiration FM & Anchor of the SME Radio Forum, Chioma Okpala, Head, Strategy, Innovation & Business Transformation, Fidelity Bank Plc., Adetunji Mustafa; Divisional Head, Managed SMEs, Fidelity Bank Plc., Osaigbovo Omorogbe, among others.
Earlier, the Executive Director of Shared Services and Products, Fidelity Bank, Chijioke Ugochukwu had stated at the bank’s SMEs forum in Lagos that the lender was anticipating 3,000 SMEs across the three series slated for Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kano.
The Fidelity SME Funding Connect is an initiative created to bridge funding gap, which many experts and stakeholders believes remains one of the biggest problems of SMEs in the country.
