A young consummate communications professional, Mr Osaze Isesele, has been appointed as the brand and communications lead of Capital Bancorp Plc, one of the foremost financial and professional services providers in Nigeria.
At Capital Bancorp, Mr Isesele is expected to champion the development of communications strategies for increased brand awareness and brand equity by deploying his expertise in conceptualizing communications campaigns with a passion for reputation and crisis management, building brand image, media relations and building an engaged workforce through internal communications.
With a 360–degree knowledge of communications and media, which includes but is not limited to – strategic communications, public relations, media relations, social media management, digital marketing, broadcast media, content writing, public speaking, event planning, brand and reputation management, internal communications, etc., he is expected to lead, oversee and manage all internal and external communications for the company and its subsidiaries ensuring its messages are consistent across all brand touchpoints.
Overall, he is expected to further project the company as a major player in the financial services industry in Nigeria with a digital-first approach.
Prior to joining the company, Mr Isesele was the Programs Manager covering Communications, Monitoring and Evaluation at The Osasu Show Foundation, where he developed a strategic communications plan during the implementation stage of a funded initiative to facilitate a N1 billion Women and Girls Empowerment (WAGE Project) across several thematic areas in the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
He was recently the Head of Digital Communications and Production at TOS Network, a digital-first news and media company where he had the responsibility of successfully managing and coordinating both human and material resources in delivering content development and production while managing the team responsible for fulfilling the organization’s digital communications mandate.
Prior to his engagement at TOS Network, the brand strategist was the Managing Partner of Mediaville Project Nigeria, a creative communications startup providing communications support and media capacity building for organisations where he led strategy and operations in successfully organizing the first-ever media awards, bringing media professionals together in the print, broadcast and digital media sectors with two successful editions in the south of Nigeria.
Mr Isesele, in his career, has served in various capacities within the communications and media landscape displaying expertise and experience in communication management of strategic objectives whilst ensuring adequate visibility for both organization and service offerings through content and brand communication initiatives.
Outside the corporate environment, he engages in political television shows and public speaking engagements to promote good governance as well as women and youth participation in politics and governance.
He is also passionate about creating platforms for mentoring and capacity building for young communications and public relations enthusiasts.
