Access Bank Holds AGM March 29 in Lagos

Access Bank Plc has announced that it would hold its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

According to a statement issued yesterday by management of the firm, the meeting will take place at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos at 10am.

During the programme, shareholders would be asked “to consider and, if thought fit, to pass the resolutions on the Group’s Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2016 and the reports of the Directors, Auditors and Audit Committee thereon.”

Also, they will be expected to declare a final dividend and re-elect Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga as a Non-Executive Director.

Furthermore, the re-election of Mr Paul Usoro as a Non-Executive Director will form the agenda as well as the election of Mr Adeniyi Adedokun Adekoya, who was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director by the Board since the last AGM.

They will also seek to elect Mr Iboroma Tamunoemi Akpana who was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director by the Board since the last AGM, elect Dr Gregory Ovie Jobome who was appointed as an Executive Director by the Board since the last AGM, to authorise the Directors to fix the remuneration of the Auditors and to elect/re-elect members of the Audit Committee.
