An experienced business and project development consultant in Nigeria, Ms Helen Ese Emore, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Courteville Business Solutions Plc.
In a formal notification to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Courteville explained that Ms Emore has a demonstrated track record of driving growth, reducing costs and improving operations of businesses and non-governmental organizations.
It was disclosed that the appointee is currently an Independent Director on the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Governance and Compliance Committee of STACO Insurance Plc, Lagos.
The notice further said in the past eight years, Ms Emore has led and participated in the planning and implementation of strategic planning and investment promotion for Delta State Integrated Development Agency, Warri Industrial Business Park, Delta State.
She is said to have undertaken the Chief Executive’s Programme at the Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos in 2013 and also attended the Leading Complex Capital Projects at the Harvard Business School, Boston MA, USA in 2012.
Ms Emore is also a PhD candidate of International Business Development at the International School of Management, Paris and has obtained a Master of Arts (MA) Business Management with commendation from University of Northumbria Newcastle, United Kingdom in 2004 as well as a Masters in Public & International Affairs with from the University of Lagos in 2002.
Courteville expressed optimism that the appointment of Ms Emore as a Non-Executive Director will bring a wealth of knowledge to the Board of the company with her diverse experience.
It said the appointment will also enhance the already versatile Board of Courteville and, ensure that the company continues to fulfil its vision of being the foremost business solutions provider.
