Diamond Bank Board Meets to Consider Q3 2017 Financial Statements

A meeting of the board of directors of Diamond Bank Plc has been fixed for Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Lagos.

During the meeting, the board of the financial institution will, among other things, consider and approve the firm’s unaudited financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2017.

A statement signed by the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, Uzoma Uja, and sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said, “This is to inform the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that a meeting of the board of directors of Diamond Bank Plc has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Lagos to consider and approve the unaudited financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2017, along with other agenda items.”

The statement also said the closed period of the lender has commenced.

According to the statement, the closed period started from October 9, 2017, and will end on October 30, 2017.

This, it explained in the statement, was announced “as required under Rule 17.2 of the Amendment to Listing Rules of the NSE.”

As a result, “no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsiblity and adviser of the company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the company in any manner during the closed period.”
