GTBank Board Meets to Consider 2018 FY Results, Dividend

The management of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Plc has said the board of director of the financial institution is planning to have a meeting at the end of this month.

In a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the lender said the meeting is slated for Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

It was stated in the notice signed by the Company Secretary, Erhi Obebeduo, that the main purpose for the gathering is to consider the full year financial statements of the bank for the period ended December 31, 2018.

“Pursuant to the post-listing requirements of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) for quoted companies, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) Plc hereby informs you that the board of directors of our bank is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, to consider the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2018,” the statement said.

It added that, “Issues relating to full year dividend may also be discussed at the meeting.”

In addition, the bank emphasised that, “We are required to forward the Audited Accounts to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for approval, prior to the release of the results on the floor of the NSE.”

“We shall notify you of the decisions reached after the approval of the CBN is obtained,” the statement concluded.
