A bank war seems to have been started by Sterling Bank Plc with its latest artwork released on Friday, July 20, 2018.
In the artwork, pictured above, the mid-level lender showed a man, while accessing banking services, discovered that he was experiencing regression with arrows going down (Access Bank); got jailed or duped (GTBank); had an elephant that was too sluggish to him to his destination (First Bank) and got a stallion carrying with no direction (Union Bank).
Sterling Bank also wrote in the artwork that, “In shooting to for the moon, men become stars.”
But three of the banks shaded in the artwork have swiftly responded.
In its response, Union Bank said, “Heading to the moon without a spacesuit…journey mercies.”
In its response, First Bank said, “…and straight into the trash can. What an elder sees while sitting, a child cannot see even if he travels to the moon. #RespectYourElders.”
Access Bank, while replying, stated that, “We will travel on an imaginary rocket too, if we were a one-customer Microfinance Bank; but with 10 million customers and counting, we rather bring the galaxy to you.”
However, as at the time of filing this report, GTBank was yet to respond to the shade.
