Afreximbank, Providus Bank, Others Throw Weight Behind LLF 2023

As the 2023 Lagos Leather Fair (LLF) draws closer, more organisations are throwing their weight behind the event, with Bank of Industry (BOI), Providus Bank, Leadway Assurance, SystemSpecs, and Afreximbank coming in as sponsors.

LLF 2023 will host major leather designers, manufacturers, and consumers of leather products worldwide between June 17 and 18 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Lagos.

A statement from the organisers disclosed that the event would provide a great opportunity for aspiring designers to learn new skills and network with other professionals from all over the world.

They described the programme’s sponsorship by the leading organisations as “a positive development for the leather industry in Nigeria and Africa.”

It was stated in the disclosure obtained by Business Post that this “has demonstrated the commitment of the sponsors to supporting the growth and development of the leather industry in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.”

The LLF 2023, through the introduction of the LLF Accelerator Programme, is an innovative mentoring and development scheme set to help businesses to grow and scale and become more competitive in the global market.

In showcasing the potential of the leather industry in Nigeria and Africa, the LLF 2023 has been themed Staying Ahead – Creativity | Collaboration | Commitment.

It was explained that the event would inspire participants to push the boundaries of creativity, foster collaboration, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The statement added that this year’s edition also promises to be an exciting event that will showcase the best of the leather industry in Nigeria and Africa.

It said with the support of its sponsors and the introduction of the LLF Accelerator Programme, the exclusive master class, conversations, workshops, runway, and the award ceremony. LLF 2023 is poised to impact the industry and inspire a new generation of leather enthusiasts.

“This programme will allow participants to learn from industry experts, receive guidance on business development, and access funding opportunities,” the notice averred.
