11 Plc Triggers 0.46% Loss at OTC Securities Exchange

11 Plc, formerly known as Mobil Nigeria Plc, made a 9.52 per cent loss and pulled the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange down by 0.46 per cent on Wednesday, March 20.

The bourse’s investors lost N6.63 billion as the market’s valuation wrapped the midweek session at N1.437 trillion compared with the previous day’s N1.443 trillion.

Following the same trend, the session ended with the main market index, the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI), depreciated by 4.9 points to wrap the session at 1,060.09 points compared with 1,064.99 points recorded at the previous session.

The sole price loser, an energy stock, lost N20.00 to end the session at N190.00 per unit compared with the preceding session’s N210.00 per unit.

However, the stock price of Afriland Properties Plc rose by 42 Kobo to end at N6.67 per share compared with Tuesday’s closing price of N6.25 per share.

During the trading day, the value of securities traded decreased by 55.9 per cent to 27.2 million from N61.7 million, the volume of securities transacted by investors went down by 87.4 per cent to 293,655 units from 2.3 million units, and the number of deals declined by 45.5 per cent to 12 deals from the 22 deals carried out in the preceding trading day.

At the close of business, Aradel Holdings Plc ended the day as the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with the sale of 2.2 million units valued at N4.8 billion, followed by FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with a turnover of 4.7 million units sold for N356.6 million, and Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc with 8.6 million units worth N179.7 million.

Also, IPWA Plc maintained its position as the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with the sale of 79.9 million units for N40.0 million, followed by Mixta Real Estate Plc with a turnover of 69.9 million units worth N114.6 million, and Geo-Fluids Plc with the sale of 53.8 million units valued at N133.5 million.
