Capital market professionals like data scientists, quantitative analysts, risk managers and portfolio managers, who use the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited market data daily for portfolio and risk management are gearing up for the sixth edition of its virtual Market Data Workshop.

A statement issued by the exchange disclosed that the event is slated for Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 10 am prompt, with policymakers and other key stakeholders expected to attend.

Business Post reports that this year’s programme is themed How Market Data Powers Investment Strategies Using Derivatives Products and to be part of it, interested participants would be required to register at http://bit.ly/ngx-mdw2021.

The workshop has the full support of sponsors like Zenith Bank, MTN Nigeria and Infoware Limited and it will provide an avenue to discuss issues around the stock exchange and the capital market in general.

The NGX Market Data Workshop is the first of its kind in West Africa. It is an annual event designed for all capital market participants including retail investors with the over-arching objective of gaining insights into the use of market data for making smart investment decisions.

This webinar promotes the awareness of NGX Market Data products, and advancing technologies powering investment analysis for capital gains.

The platform will facilitate open discussions on structured market products tied to derivatives, fixed income and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) as well as provide insights on the importance and applicability of market data as an integral ingredient for data solutions.
