Afrinvest Holds Training on Power Sector Business Analysis

Leading independent investment banking firm, Afrinvest West Africa, has concluded plans to hold its second training series tagged ‘Power Sector Business Analysis, Valuation and Financing.’

The programme is slated for March 1 and 2, 2017 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Lagos by 8am.

Business Post learnt that the training series will have plenary session by industry experts, who will brainstorm on understanding the power sector value chain; power generation sources, costs, benefits and obstacles.

Also to be discussed are renewable and non-renewable energies; gas and gas infrastructure as the bane of the Nigerian power problem; power transmission; investment gap and financing options; power distribution; investment gap and financing options; power sector business; financial analysis and ratios (Gencos and Discos) and more.

Expected to be at the event are bank treasurers and risk managers, commercial bankers, institutional investors, pension funds administrators, investment and financial advisers/consultants, central bankers, power sector value chain operators and others.
