Primary mortgage institution, AG Mortgage Bank Plc (AGMB), has announced that its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

This announcement was contained in a disclosure made by the organisation to the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange, where it trades its securities.

In the notice, the firm stated that the meeting will hold at Nisa Wellness Retreat, 14 Tapeta Street British Village, Wuse 2, in the country’s capital territory, Abuja, and will kick off by 11 am prompt.

The occasion will see the gathering of shareholders of AG Mortgage Bank, who would be updated by the board on the operations and performance of the company in the previous fiscal year as well as other related issues.

This includes consideration of annual accounts, discussion of the director’s report and the auditor’s report, as well as appointment and fixing of the remuneration of the statutory auditors, as the case may be.

However, the company did not propose any distribution of dividends to its shareholders ahead of the meeting. It only said its register of members had closed from Monday, August 31 through Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Licensed Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in December 2004, AGMB’s operating scope covers the provision of mortgage lending, real estate construction finance, drawing from the mortgage funds for on-lending, acceptance of savings, term, mortgage focused demand deposits, and mortgage advisory services.

As of press time, the company’s stock was trading flat at 58 kobo per unit.
