CardinalStone Securities Limited, a wholly owned securities trading subsidiary of CardinalStone Partners Limited, a full-service investment banking firm and financial services company with diverse domestic and foreign clientele, has expressed delight at winning an award at the recently-concluded Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited’s Made of Africa (MOA) Awards.

At the ceremony held in Lagos, which had in attendance various stakeholders in the capital market, the company was named the winner of the Best Trading License Holder Across Asset Classes.

The firm was recognised for being the highest rating in terms of quality and completeness of documentation for listing applications in 2022.

The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of CardinalStone, Mr Michael Nzewi, while commenting on the achievement, said, “CardinalStone is delighted to be a part of this, and we cannot deny how much of an impact the Nigerian Exchange has had in Africa as a whole.

“The Nigerian Exchange provided a platform for us to execute the largest deal on the Nigerian Exchange to date.

“We are grateful for this win and are super proud of the immense growth and value that the Nigerian Exchange adds to us all.”

The MOA Awards, first established as the NSE CEO Awards in 2012, is designed to recognize companies and individuals within the capital market ecosystem that demonstrate exceptional performance in value delivery and sustainable impact and act as key drivers in strengthening the Nigerian and African capital markets.

The award featured a host of notable names and doled out notable awards such as Most Active and Innovative Trader in Derivatives, Fund Manager with the Largest Listed Fund Size, Corporate Bond Innovation Award, and Capital Market Reportage, among others.

The award ceremony featured some organisations listed on the exchange such as Dangote Cement Plc, MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, Meristem Capital Limited, and Stanbic IBTC Capital Limited, who were also winners of awards amongst others in their various categories.
