Glassware production company, Beta Glass Plc, has offered to pay its shareholders a dividend of N1.67 per 50 kobo of ordinary shares for the year ended December 31, 2019.
The glass production company in a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Ms Bola Adebisi, noted that the proposed dividend is subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval from its esteemed shareholders. It further said the money would be paid to investors whose names appear in its Register of Members as at Thursday, June 11, 2020.
Furthermore, the glass manufacturer stated that the dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders on Friday, July 3, 2020, a day after the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 2.
Beta Glass Plc noted that its closure of register for shareholders will be from Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19, 2020 and called on shareholders who are yet to complete their e-dividend registration to do so through its Registrar, Cardinalstone Registrars Limited, to enable payment of the dividends to their respective bank accounts.
For guidance, this can be done by downloading the registrar’s E-dividend Mandate Activation Form, which can also be gotten on the Registrars’ website – www.cardinalstoneregistrars.com which will then be filled and submitted to the Registrar or the shareholders’ banks.
The company then called on shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants and share certificates or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or alternatively contact the registrar.
