C & I Leasing to Pay Shareholders 5 Kobo Dividend June 30

Shareholders of C & I Leasing Plc will receive 5 kobo for every share of the company in their portfolio on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the board has confirmed.

The payment is the dividend recommended by the board for the financial year ended December 31, 2020, a notice from the organisation disclosed.

However, this cash reward is subject to the approval of the shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) fixed for June 29, 2021, by 11.00am on 2, C & I Leasing Drive, off Bisola Durosinmi Etti Drive, Off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, as well as appropriate withholding tax, which is 10 per cent.

In the disclosure from the firm, it was stated that the payment would be made to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as at close of business on Friday, June 11, 2021.

To have the money paid directly into their bank accounts as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), shareholders of the company must complete their e-dividend registration and authorise the registrar, Centurion Registrars Limited, to do this.

C & I Leasing said in the statement that the register of shareholders would be closed from Monday, June 14, 2021, to Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
