Dangote Cement to Engage Investors on Proposed London Listing September 21

There are plans to engage investors and other stakeholders on the proposed secondary listing of Dangote Cement Plc on the London Stock Exchange later this month.

The cement maker, in a regulatory note on Wednesday, said this proposed meeting will take place in London, the United Kingdom, on September 21, 2026.

Recall that on May 12, 2026, Dangote Cement announced its intention to list its shares on the LSE. The company’s equities are currently listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited.

The proposed secondary listing has already received shareholders’ authorisation.

The September 21 meeting, according to the disclosure today, is to provide update “Further to the company’s announcement of May 12, 2026, and the subsequent approval by its shareholders of the proposed secondary listing of the company’s shares on the London Stock Exchange, the company is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Capital Markets Day (CMD) in London on September 21, 2026.

“The CMD will provide investors and other stakeholders with an update on the company’s strategy, operations and business priorities, as well as an opportunity to engage with the company’s senior management.

“Further details, including the agenda and logistics, will be shared in due course. Presentation materials for the CMD will also be made available to the market in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements,” the notice signed by the company secretary, Mr Edward Imoedemhe, read.
