Dantata Quits as MRS Oil Chairman, Alberti Takes Over

Nigerian business mogul, Mr Sayyu Dantata, has resigned as Chairman, Board of Directors of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.

Mr Dantata’s resignation was confirmed in a statement issued on Friday by the company’s scribe, Mrs Kemi Jafojo.

She said after the board approved the resignation of Mr Dantata, it later approved the appointment of Mr Patrice Alberti as the new Chairman MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.

Mr Alberti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Paris Academy and has been with the MRS Group since 2004.

He is currently the Group Managing Director of MRS Group of Companies and a Director on the board of Corlay Global SA.

Prior to joining MRS Group, he held a number of positions over a period of 20 years in various banks in Europe namely BNP Paribas, Paribas, Banque Arabe Internationale D’Investitssment, Banco Central SA, to mention a few.
