Ecobank Summons Shareholders on Revocation of Directors’ Mandates

Shareholders of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated have been summoned by the company for a special meeting aimed at discussing the possible revocation of the revocation of the mandates of directors.

This information was disclosed by the financial services group via a statement signed by the company secretary, Madibinet Cisse.

In the disclosure submitted to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited, Ecobank stated that the 39th Ordinary General Meeting will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, by video conference.

The single item on the agenda for the day is “revocation of the mandates of directors.” Shareholders will be allowed to vote to support or oppose this resolution.

“Notice is hereby given that the thirty-ninth Ordinary General Meeting of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated will be held by video conference on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 10:30 am GMT, to transact the following business:

  1. Revocation of the mandates of Directors.

“Shareholders who intend to attend the online meeting may register at https://ecobank.com/agm from Monday, October 19, 2026.

“Shareholders are encouraged to submit in advance the proxy form duly completed indicating their voting intentions and deposit same at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, 2365 Boulevard du Mono, B.P. 3261 Lome, Togo, or send by email to [email protected] by close of business on Friday, October 23, 2026.

“All relevant documents in connection with the meeting are available to all shareholders from the date of this notice at the Registered Office of the Company situated at 2365 Boulevard du Mono, Lomé, Togo as well as on the company’s website (www.ecobank.com).

“Shareholders may submit questions in advance of the General Meeting by sending an email to [email protected],” the statement disclosed.
