Fashola To Lead Talks On Electricity Metering

Tuesday, October 11, 2016, has been fixed for a town hall meeting with the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, to address the issue of metering of electricity consumers in Nigeria.

The event, according to information reaching us, is hosted by EiE, DW Media & Channels TV with support from Power Up NG & Budgit.

The meeting tagged ‘The Big Issue: Electricity Metering’, will air on Channels TV from 7pm till 9pm.

Expected at the occasion are Managing Directors of the Distribution Companies (DISCOs), meter manufacturers, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and consumers.

At the function, the policies and challenges of electricity metering in Nigeria would be discussed by participants.

Dollar Squeeze Crashes Naira to N480/$1 at Parallel Market
